Objectives / Objectifs
To strengthen skills and abilities to combat HIV in the communities of Santa Clara and San Julian through education, increasing respect for human rights, and the social-economic empowerment of women and people living with HIV.
Outcomes / Résultats
1) Raising consciousness in groups of women, men and youth about HIV prevention thorugh formative, educational processes in gender, responsible sexuality, masculinity and human rights.
2)Developing productive initiatives in cooperatives in order to economically empower groups and women, youth, and people living with HIV.
3) Promotion of economic empowerment of people living with HIV so that they can protect their own helath and assume responsibility in helping to stop the spread of HIV through attention in physical and emotional/spiritual health.
4) Achieving respect for human rights in the municipalities where the project will take place through political advocacy in coordination with the municipal governments, other organizations of civil society, and community organization.
