Objectives / Objectifs
The objective if this project is to provide care and support to people living with HIV/AIDS at Santhosh Centre of MNEC to maximize their quality of life.
This program supports and cares for women and children living with or affected by HIV/AIDS by providing comprehensive medical care and counselling to PLHAs (including counselling for depression and anti viral therapy), distributing food and clothing to women and children, as well as providing educational support in the form of textbooks, notebooks and other educational materials.
Outcomes / Résultats
100 infected women and 45 affected children have received food, clothing and medical care, thus reducing the financial, physical and emotional burden of HIV/AIDS.
