Objectives / Objectifs
The HIV and AIDS mainstreaming program aims to:
- Increase the number of housing organizations in Sub-Saharan Africa that deepen the mainstreaming of HIV and AIDS responses with a focus on women, youth and livelihoods.
- Grow and strength African regional and global network on HIV/AIDS and housing with a focus on women, youth and livelihoods, and strong institutional linkages between Canadian AIDS sector organizations and partners in sub-Saharan Africa.
- Increase policy recognition of the links between HIV/AIDS and housing, including gender- differentiated impacts, and increase support and resources for responses among local and national governments, regional and bilateral agencies.
