Objectives / Objectifs
This projects aims to expand and increase the hospital’s services to orphans and their guardians in order to create a better future. Specifically, the main objectives are:
- More orphans above 5 accessing quality primary school education
- More orphans 0-5 access the services at the OCTC
- Reduced mortality rates
- Reduced stigma
- Ease guardians burden and worries
This program seeks to achieve its goals through a focus on food, medical care and education. Orphans will receive food and food supplements, and basic medical care. To improve care, guardians will receive education on healthcare and improved gardening. In order to limit the chance of school drop out and encourage orphans to continue learning, orphans will receive a quality primary education in a safe social environment.
